I still own my childhood copy of this story which was originally published in 1939. I think I will pass on this story to Jane this year.

This is not an overtly Easter-themed book; but it is one of my favorite stories of all time. I love the message.

The Easter Bunny is planning to include a board book version of this little story in Clark's basket this year.
The Golden Egg Book by Margaret Wise Brown. My favorite children's book author of all time.
The Runaway Bunny by Margaret Wise Brown. Beautiful story. Beautiful illustrations. A well-known classic.

i LOVE The Little Country Bunny and Her Gold Shoes. Ive been hoping to come across a new old copy, but havent had any luck.
I read The Little Country Bunny to Jane this morning and got really teary-eyed.

Ooh I love the Country Bunny. I actually just ordered it in time for Easter this year. We read it as kids at my Grandmother's house. Such great memories.
