Easter Finger Puppets

I thought I'd try making some simple felt finger puppets to add to the kids Easter baskets. I just love working with felt. It is so easy to hand sew. I used some leftover felt scraps I had to create two Easter bunnies and two little chicks. I think I'll add some lambs as well so that Jane and Clark each have their own set.

Here's how I made the bunnies:
Cut out two pieces of felt about 1/2" thick by 2" long. Round the top ends slightly (cut both pieces together so they are an exact match). Add your faces to the bunny by embroidering a pink triangle-shaped nose and little brown mouth and eyes. Cut two small ear shapes out of matching felt and two smaller versions with a contrasting color. Hand sew the inner ears onto the larger ears. Sandwich the completed bunny ears between the two pieces of felt and hand stitch around the outside of the felt making sure to attach the ears.
